Simi Cap Track





Simi, in cooperation with the BrainProducts company, has developed a 3D analysis system for the real-time tracking of 3D coordinates of EEG electrodes on the scalp. Neurological Research and Rehabilitation with Simi at UTEP







Simi has proved to be the best system in the laboratory for Human Motion Analysis und Neurological Rehabilitation at the University of Texas El Paso, which carries out research in the field of rehabilitation with partners such as NASA and the Memorial Hospital. In future Dr Thompson Sarkodie-Gyan will work on new research in this area using the Simi system in combination with 8 cameras, a treadmill with integrated force plates and acceleration sensors. Harvard University opts for BioCell

Harvard University has decided to join such top names as the National Health Institute in the USA and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg in opting for Simi BioCell. It is intending to use Simi BioCell to gain new insights in cell biology and genetic research.

 

 





Simi Motion to be used for facial expression analysis


It is possible to capture and analyze human facial expressions with Simi Motion. The Department of Psychology at the University of Göttingen has decided to use Simi Motion in combination with a 6-camera system to evaluate human facial expressions.

 

 

 

New Simi 4 x 500 fps systems, 1280 x 1024 pixels


Simi can now offer new high-speed systems which capture data using 4 cameras at 500 fps and a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels. These systems capture data 100% synchronously and save the information directly to the hard disk. This data is then immediately available for further analysis with Simi Motion. The system is configured before delivery.

New Simi 8 x 200 fps systems, 640 x 480 pixels

We can also offer a complete system which captures data synchronously using up to 8 cameras at 200 fps and a resolution of 640 x 480 and saves it directly to the hard disk. The complete system is run on a computer specially configured by Simi. One of the first customers to buy this system was the University of Stanford. Simi Scout in China

The Chinese national table-tennis team also uses our software to optimize its performance. Tactics and play can be analyzed with Simi Scout, leading to better competition results.

 

 







Aspire Center chooses Simi Solutions

The Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence in Qatar has decided to equip its sports facilities with Simi Motion analysis systems, including for example the solution with four 500 fps cameras at a resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels.

 

 

Analysis Licenses

We can now offer existing Simi Motion customers additional analysis modules for marker capture and data evaluation. This allows more analysts to work on the recorded data at the same time. Video and analog data can be imported and exported, but these must have been recorded using the basic Simi model.

 

Additional analysis license for 2D Motion: 2900 Euros

Additional analysis license for 3D Motion: 1400 Euros

First mobile 3D high-speed camera system in use by Sports Authority of India (05/2006)





Since March 2006 the Sports Authority of India has been successfully using our mobile system consisting of two 100 Hz high-speed cameras, a high-performance notebook and, of course, the Simi Motion 3D software.

 

These independent systems can be connected to capture data synchronously with several cameras up to 200 Hz. It is also possible to use external measuring devices such as force plates, EMG, EEG and foot pressure testing systems for the synchronous capture of data.

Since March 2006 the Sports Authority of India successfully has been using our mobile camera system that consists in two 100Hz high speed cameras, a powerful notebook and, of course, our Simi Motion3D software.

Furthermore it is possible to connect these cameras between them and to make recordings simultaneously and synchronously with numerous cameras at a maximal frequency of 200Hz.

You can also use extern measuring devices like force plates, EMG, EEG and foot pressure measurement while being absolutely mobile (USB gateway).
